Sometimes those laws stand, no matter how damaging or even unconstitutional they are. 

Sometimes they get crushed in court. 

And it’s the “how to crush those laws in court” thing we’re talking about on OREIA’s Sunday Sitdown this week.  

We’re hosting Maurice Thompson, founder of the 1851 Center for Constitutional Law, a nonprofit law firm that sues governments when they violate property rights. 

Maurice has already defeated cities over: 

• Warrantless rental inspections 
• Mandatory pre-sale home inspections 
• Fees imposed on homeowners when crimes happened on their property 

And he’s currently litigating cases involving occupancy limits, STR restrictions, and rental inspections.
